So the process of liberation is twofold: on the one hand, reinforcing the awareness of the Self, and on the other hand, decreasing the power of the reacting mind by neutralising as many samskaras as possible. The first part corresponds to the various processes of meditation, initiation, rituals, and so on, while the second can be dealt with through IST.

Therefore, if you want to be the emperor of emperors, WANT NOTHING. What is the cause of misery? It is this fire of craving always burning you…. ‘Havishak krishna vartmeva bhuya evabhivardhate’. Therefore , you must become a dvandatita. Free yourself from this involvement, entanglement, with these pairs of opposites.

Mastery of Rajas

This transmutation of the gunas becomes a valuable aid in that awakening to the innermost depths of being where the God within lies slumbering. Therefore, the masters would want the unfoldment to bring about the conquest of tamas and the mastery of rajas. The valuable dynamism of rajas could be utilised by giving it a higher direction, and it would become a valuable factor in bringing about the awakening of the divine. For it is through the awakening into the divine element of himself that the individual would ultimately fulfil his mission on earth and attain to God-consciousness.
